We have lost count of all the crates we have packed and taken to Sydney ready for the big trip across the big Ocean to arrive safelyπŸ™πŸ› we will be there in time to unpack and use the things to further the Sonship ministry πŸ™πŸ˜„πŸ₯°πŸ‘πŸΌ
As always lots of medical gear packed and books and Bibles. And this crates has a small fibre glass dingy and outboard motor to go behind Medisonship 7.
We are grateful to Melissa for allowing us space to make and pack the crate up at the old dairy share where Sonship rents a small storage unit as things are collected until there is a need to make the crate, pack and send out to bless πŸ™Œ others πŸ™ πŸ˜€
We are grateful πŸ™ for the Sonship Op Shop for the clothing and linen donations for packing, projectors (2 in this crate), Bibles and Bible story books, kitchen wares, and most things we send out are donated through the Op Shop. We thankyou Pat and Chris for managing and keeping the shop open to provide for the Sonship ministry. Thankyou also to the volunteers that process the "mountains" of donations that come through the shop for with out them we couldn't keep operating. And to the many people that come to purchase all the beautiful things ✨️THANKYOU ALLπŸ™Œ
A TEAM EFFORT πŸ‘Œ πŸ’ͺ πŸ™‚ πŸ‘πŸΌ

Credits for this story and photos go to Leenford M Timothy who has written in his story while on his medical tour. We are grateful for his expertise and appreciate some history on the side.

"Just a few minutes ride by boat from Kuzi is Kaza village. This village held a significant part of history of the Seventh Day Adventist church in the Solomon Islands which is slowly forgotten. Prior to the landing of the Seventh Adventist church at Viru, GF Jones and his crew sail from Roviana where they are being chased and cursed. There they sail towards kolombangara right at Kaza village but at a site called Tughagha. After that, they slowly making their way up towards Ughele than peacefully landed at Viru. It's memorial still evident today at Tughagha. Not only that but Kaza have a primary and secondary school. The primary school was operated by the Seventh Day Adventist Church while the secondary school is operated by the western province education authority and it is a boarding school. Here we conducted our routine satellite clinic as usual and both the students and communities have equal turn for medical checkup and treatments. On that, few sun glasses were also distributed along with reading glasses. The community, students and staffs were so thankful and blessed for recieving free medical services right at their door steps. "His hands his touch" Touching lives through medical serviceπŸ™πŸ₯°"

Story by RN Leenford M

Captain Soni Gora Chaplain Donald Gwao

"It was a beautiful sunny morning here at Kena village as we deliver free health and medical check up which include NCD screening and general outpatient. This is the final tour for this year 2025. They were so excited for this free health service that was provided. Kena is a small community but have a big population than its neighbouring villages and it is the only community to have spoken the original kolombangara language now. We spent the entire morning with them till noon."

Sonship's catamarans with such a low draft can go where other boats cannot. Bringing free medical aid to the most remote and hard to reach villages in the Western Solomons. This is Medisonship 2 navigating is way to such a village.
